It’s happened. The Shark is gone. Yesterday the Chicago Cubs decided to make themselves (potentially) better by making themselves worse, and sent away Jeff Samardzija along with Jason Hammel to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for Addison Russell, Billy McKinney and starter Dan Straily.
